Star Wars! - the students were rope jumping "Stars"!

Another annual Jumpathon has come and gone.  All 3rd and 4th graders demonstrated their agility, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and creativity at the Jump Rope for Heart Jumpathon on Friday, February 5th.  It was fun to see many parents at the event cheering the students while they jumped.  In fact, many parents even kicked up their heels and did some jumping also!  Very Impressive for sure!  The theme this year was "May the Force be with You"!  Students had the option of wearing Star War apparel of any apparel that is red/pink to support the American Heart Association.  The physical education is excited to add up all the donations that were collected by the students. Our goal is $8,000 but we are confident the students did far better than that!

The physical education department would like to thank all the 3rd and 4th grade students for their participation, enthusiasm and support for the American Heart Association. Stay Active - keep that heart healthy whatever age you are!
